In our lab, we enjoy testing the latest tools and developing applications that keep us updated with cutting-edge technology.

Here, we play and learn the use of technologies which we then implement into each of our developments.

In our laboratories, we explore solutions to various challenges presented by our clients or even ones we set for ourselves. Our team of professionals is comprised of instructors from the Balseiro Institute, the University of Río Negro, and UTN, all of whom are qualified to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Our team of professionals is capable of working on projects of interest where innovative solutions are sought, focusing on low computational costs for everyday challenges.
Our current research areas include:
  • Biometric Identification Applications: We study various facial feature identification methods for everyday applications. We’ve conducted a master’s program on creating a real-time biometric identification system, which was endorsed by the Balseiro Institute.
  • Determining fruit and vegetable quality using cameras. These systems are used in product selection equipment.
  • License plate recognition for control and monitoring applications.
  • Individual Identification: Depending on the application, we can utilize either intrusive or non-intrusive identification methods. We’ve researched and worked with:
  • Voice-based identification.
  • Fingerprint identification.
  • Facial image identification.

  • Smart-city equipment, with a study of alternatives and communication methods.
  • Consultation on implementing these technologies in cities.
