EThe Control Unit is the radar’s heart, coordinating all subsystems to ensure they work together to complete the tasks assigned by the users. It uses telemetry protocols to monitor the state of each subsystem and other protocols to control them. The Control Unit also ensures that all duties are completed correctly and in the proper mode of operation in real time.
Users interact with the Control Unit using a variety of interfaces, including web, graphical, and console-style interfaces. To guarantee security, the system checks users’ rights before enabling them to execute certain actions like changing the mode of operation or performing calibrations.
In addition to the Control Unit, we created software for the Argentine meteorological radar’s Storage Unit. This unit is in charge of storing and organizing the radar data, allowing meteorologists to examine it and make informed decisions on forecasts and weather alerts.
